Mission Statement
At Happy Paws Plattsmouth, we unite loving families with animals who need them most. Since 2009, our community-driven 501(c)(3) rescue has been transforming lives—both human and animal—throughout our 3-county area.
In 2024 alone, 249 dogs and cats found their forever families through Happy Paws Plattsmouth. Behind each successful adoption stands a network of passionate volunteers, dedicated foster homes, and a supportive community. Together, we're creating happy endings, one wagging tail at a time.

We operate entirely through volunteer efforts and the generosity of our community. Our funding comes exclusively from city grants, fundraising events, and individual donations—we receive no state or federal assistance. Every donation, foster home, and adoption directly impacts our ability to save more animals and support more families in our community.
