Jalapeño just didnt fit this boys personality. He's to sweet to have a spicy name. Introducing Rico! The parvo survivor pup formerly known as Jalapeño. Rico is about 10 weeks old and around 8lbs so far. His foster mom says hes a smart boy and has even learned to keep his kennel clean. We had no doubt this boy was smart and strong. He fought thru parvo and is happy to be here and play his day away! Rico is available for adoption on contract
Hi friends! I'm Churro! I came with my brother Taz to Nebraska a few months ago. My lucky brother has been adopted already so I'm watiing for a fun loving home myself now!! Churro is good with other dogs and once I warm up, love to play. I haven't met a cat yet but maybe I'd like to! My foster says I would benefit from continued training not to jump but I've been working hard on my manners and Mom says they get better every hour! I am crate trained and know sit now! I love to play with toys, especially crinkle ones and loves treats! I'm a small gal at just 30lbs, you can even pick me up and cuddle me! Meet Diamond!! Diamond is approx 13 weeks old and such a good girl! She's dog and cat friendly. Diamond is working really hard on all the puppy things including kennel training. She's a super sweet little girl who would love to be the pretty Diamond in your life! You'd never know this girls was abandoned before she even hit double digit weeks old. Diamond is ready for adoption on contract.
Miss Maggie has settled into foster care. This sweet, smart girl has already learned sit and how to use the doggy door! She's working on lay. Maggie is approx 7mo old, spayed and ready to find her furever. Maggie is good with other dogs and kids. The vet said she did fine with the cats at their office but she has not been housed with any.

At about 4 months old, he's mastered the art of cozy living — you’ll usually find him snuggled up together with his foster brother on a blanket or bed purring away. He was originally part of a TNR project — so he has a little ear tip to show he's been cared for. 💕 He grew up in a backyard with little human interaction. Now safe inside, He's discovering how good it feels to be loved. 🧡 Mango (orange + white) is the braver of the two, a curious little explorer who loves gentle pets and cozy naps. He's a bit shy at first, but with patience (and maybe a few treats), you’ll see his loving sides shine. He has a big heart, soft fur, and a love of all things warm and snuggly. 💤 Favorite hobby: sleeping while swaddled in a blanket. 🍗 Favorite snack: Churu tubes! 💞 Dream home: Calm, loving humans who will give them time to bloom. Here is a story with a twist. Spicy was found stray and never claimed by her former owner. So she needed a ticket out of Texas. But she had a little surprise for all of us before she was able to travel to Nebraska. Now Spicy and her puppies will need foster homes. She will stay with the rescue in Texas with her little ones until they are old enough to travel. Spicy is a young Chihuahua mix. And unlike her name a very sweet girl.
This young adult is still in need of a place to land when she arrives. Please welcome her by offering her a place to stay. She looks to be a Boston Terrier mix and weighs around 25 lbs. She is a very happy and sweet girl.
Remember Matty? The young male with the embedded chain and rope? He still hasn't found a foster home to welcome him after his long travel. He is around 1 year old
Meet Casper. He was found starving and matted all by himself. No place to call home. But his days of scraping roadkill of the streets are over now( his last meal in the picture). Isn't he a handsome young man? Casper is thought to be under 2 years old. Very sweet and friendly.

****COURTESY POST ONLY**** NOT IN OUR CARE Mama: She is an independent cat, but when she wants your attention, she will make it well known by laying with you wherever you are, being talkative (she's pretty talkative anyways), or rubbing up on your legs. She is very good at enforcing her own boundaries, and when she has had enough, she will tell you. She loves her food and snacks, catnip is her most favorite thing. She really likes soft and fuzzy blankets. She will stretch out fully and kneed into them. She will be incredibly nervous and probably anxious at first, so give her time, and she will absolutely come around. She loves sunny spots and sleeping in the bed with you (particularly near your feet or behind your legs). She will play, but sometimes she's selective. She really is a cat with pure duality, sweet and loving at her core, but sassy with that torti-tude of hers. Shes a good cat, a real good one. Shes had a hard life before we got her, and she deserves peace, kindness, and lots of love. Good with dogs but not other cats. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines.
